Our Story
Educating Minds, Inspiring Hearts
Jalappa Law College, established in 2024, is a unit of Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust, Tamaka, Kolar, founded in realization of the vision of Late Shri R. L. Jalappa, former Union Minister, to provide quality legal education to underprivileged and rural students in and around Doddaballapura.
Affiliation
The College is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, recognized by the Bar Council of India, and approved by the Government of Karnataka. It is located at Kodigehalli, Doddaballapura, on a serene 5-acre green campus with modern infrastructure, including smart classrooms, a digital library, a moot court hall, playground, and swimming pool.
Bandwidth
The College offers 5-Year B.A., LL.B. and 3-Year LL.B. programmes with an intake of 60 students each, supported by experienced faculty and practice-oriented teaching. Free bus transportation is provided for students in and around Doddaballapura, along with fee concessions for meritorious students and a special ₹10,000 concession in commemoration of the birth centenary of Late Shri R. L. Jalappa.
